Technicians
Katherine Caceres
Technician / Kennel Technician
Katherine is a dedicated hardworking individual who has been employed with the clinic since March of 2004. Her position includes caring for the needs of all the pets; administering medications, bathing, feeding, mini grooms, nail trims and assuring the comfort of each pet. Katherine does not discriminate; she loves all animals with or without fur equally. Pets have surrounded her all her life, anywhere from lizards to horses and a few other critters. Katherine and Rafael her husband have three dogs, Sophie a lap Rottweiler, Monkie a/k/a Rowdie a Poodle Terrier mix and Mr. Wiggles a miniature Dachshund. Her goal is to ensure no animal is left behind, that every animal has a loving home and is provided the best care available.

Amber joined the clinic in May 2005. She loves caring for animals of all types. Amber shares her home with 2 dogs: a Boxer named Cooper and a Dalmatian named Rebel. She also has 3 cats, Nutters, Roscoe and Blackie, a rabbit named Woody, and 6 chickens. She is currently attending North Georgia College to earn her Bachelor's degree in Biology and plans on attending the University of Georgia to earn her DVM.

It is a great joy for Cristina Brudean to be a member of Sawnee Animal Clinic's family. She recently moved to Cumming from Romania and she is determined to learn many things. She joined the clinic in April 2006 and loves the pets and the work she is doing. Cristina is interested in becoming an excellent veterinary assistant and in providing quality care to all the pets.
Receptionists
Catherine Jameson
My name is Catherine, or as everyone here calls me "Cat".
I have a great love for all pets and that's why I am here.
I have several pets of my own, from domestic to exotic.
When entering our clinic, you will be greeted with a smile, and
your pet will be treated as if it were my own.
I am a fairly new addition to the Sawnee Animal Clinic family,
but rest assured that with my continuous training and my
current abilities you and your pet will receive the friendliest
and the best care available.
Jill Sawyer
It
is wonderful fulfilling my long time desire to work with pets and the humans
they own. As a member of the Sawnee Animal Clinic team, I find this work
both gratifying and challenging. My husband & I are owned by two beautiful four
legged family members. They are Sophie, a lab mix and Jinx, a pug. I look
forward to serving you and “all” your family members in the future.
Kennel
Tara Esbeck
Tara is an undergraduate student at Georgia Tech majoring in Biology. In the future, she would like to go into Marine Science and possibly veterinary school. Currently, she is working in the intramural department at school and plays on an intramural team for almost every sport. For extra work on the side, she tie-dyes baby clothes to sell.
Tara is the proud owner of a dog and a rabbit.
Amber Hamm
I am the mother of a one year old son and a two year old Miniature Pincher named Andy. After attending Lanier Technical College I began my career at Sawnee Animal Clinic in January of 2006. I truly enjoy working with the pets and adding to their well- being. Providing care and help for animals has been a childhood dream of mine. It is a pleasure working with all the staff members and pets. I look forward to each new challenge.
Kim Able
Kimberly came to work for us in 2006. Her position includes kennel duties, giving medication, bathing, feeding, nail trims and assisting wherever needed. For 18 years, Kim worked in education. For the past 7 years, Kim was a stay-at-home mom. She counseled kids and coaches spring fast pitch travel softball, “The Storm!”
Kim and her husband Tim have two wonderful children, Britanny and Joey. The rest of her household consists of their dog, PooBear (shipoo), and their cat, Junior. They also have fish and two fat-tailed geckos, Ben and Spotty. Kim thinks there is nothing better than going to work every morning to something you truly love…"Working with animals."
Grooming
Lisa Ellis
Lisa Ellis joined the clinic in April 2005. She attended Texas Tech University and worked in the dental field for 5 years. For eighteen years she was a stay at home mom and a volunteer for multiple areas in the community. Lisa has always had a passion for all animals, especially the older ones and those with special needs. She decided to follow her heart by pursuing a career in pet grooming where she has earned 1,000 hours certification.
“I am pleased to be part of the clinic team and have high expectations in providing quality grooming and satisfaction for our clients.”
